Feeling Stuck? Try These Simple Practices.
If you’re searching for clarity somewhere in your life right now, try this for ten minutes as often or as long as you want. Trust that you already have the answers within yourself.
Take a mindful moment- Grab your journal and find a quiet spot to sit where you will feel relaxed and supported. Become aware of the breath, and take a few moments to become present in your body.
Try an ocean breath- (Ujjayi or Warrior Breath) On each inhale and exhale, make a deep pulling/pressing ocean sound in the back of your throat area. The noise of your breath can be incredibly soothing, like waves going in and out.
Now place your hand on your heart and set your intention to seek clarity.

Just be in the space- Take notice to any feelings or thoughts that may be coming up. If you find that your mind or fear is getting in the way, go back to your breath and repeat the mantra. The inner voice feels expansive and soulful. You will know, even if it’s just for a moment. Stay in the experience for as long as you feel.
Time to reflect- When you’re ready, take the time to awaken your body slowly before opening your eyes. Take a few moments to reflect and free-write in your journal. Consider all your senses, as sometimes you may receive a message through a feeling, sensation, an image or even a scent.
Begin to have awareness around the impulse to find the answers from outside sources.
